Migrate Your Company Email to Office 365 Exchange Online
A few questions for you if you are wanting to Migrate Your Company Email to Office 365 Exchange Online as told by an Outlook Expert.
If your firm is looking for a company to help you migrate to Office 365…I can certainly help, but let me ask you some questions first to see if you need all the products or just one. Exchange. The Holy Grail of Synchronizing, the product that trumps all (including Google Apps)! The one that is in a perfect marriage with Microsoft Outlook.
Keep in mind, the full Office 365 for Business plans offer 6 products, and most of my clients just need one, Exchange. There is no need to buy all 6 when you need one.
Does everyone in your company have a current version of Outlook 2010 or 2013? Then maybe you don’t need the full Office 365, just Exchange? Cheaper and faster to implement.
Do you have mobile needs for synchronized calendars and contacts? This is the core reason why companies want to move to Exchange, the mobile synchronizing is fast and awesome. Team information sharing is included.
Thinking of using SharePoint or OneDrive? These products are slowly being phased out as “great sharing solutions” because they are having so many problems synchronizing. No kidding. Think about using another solution, Dropbox of course is in the running for the favorite among small teams. Now if you have a larger company, you can certainly get a SharePoint admin to help you, but as far as I know…the synch tools are still bad and the online is only working great. Mapped drives are fine, only if you don’t leave the internet.
You might have many more questions, these are the usual questions I get. Most clients just want their email migrated to exchange and I can help. I pride myself on doing migrations in 1 day and offer professional “aftercare” so your Outlook should look and feel the same, but have the awesome exchange benefits!
I also offer “aftercare” for businesses that set up Exchange themselves and have a few lingering issues or need training.
