Do you need an email therapist?
Maybe you do, maybe you don’t? Many of my clients have told me over and over that when they book an appointment with me, they feel like they are booking a therapy appointment. I am guessing it’s because of the calming methods I use to get information out of them and how they manage their inbox. Or because they feel they went through a minor exorcism. Either way, at the end of our appointments, I have you thinking completely different about how you manage your email and more importantly, your email life.
- If you find yourself lost in your own email on a daily basis, you may need some help with your set up.
- If you can’t find important emails, you may need organizing help.
- If your Outlook is getting clunky and slow, you should call me quickly because that’s a sign of it crashing.
- If you have multiple email accounts and nothing syncs, there are solutions out there to help you.
- Are you and your team (or just you) emailing yourself documents so you can have a copy on another computer? Stop that madness now. I know I have solutions to help you with this!
- Are you an email hoarder? Can’t let anything go? I am an email hoarding specialist and work with you to learn to let go, but yet keep those emails…just somewhere else.
I have written many blogs about Outlook and helping. If you’re not sure you’re ready to book an appointment yet, please go to our search function at the top of the page and type in “Outlook” and you will find many more blogs I have done on the subject to help. Are you ready right now? Please call 612-865-4475 and ask to get on Lisa’s calendar. I’m here to help!
Top 10 IT Services Your Business Needs, #1
Welcome to my short series on the Top 10 IT services your business needs! This is a great time of year to review your IT budget and figure out where things are missing or going wrong and get them fixed asap! If you are not working at a proficient level, you are suffering due to technical band-aids ands and fears of things costing too much. Getting small glitches fixed is the best way to stay efficient.
#1, Review your current IT support company. Find a company that fits your needs
- Are they responsive? How quickly do they get back to you when you put in a service request?
- How long do you have to wait to get an appointment on the calendar?
- Do they have multiple ways of communication?
- Do they offer night and weekend support?
- Are they expensive?
- Do they offer onsite assistance?
- Do they offer remote support for those internet/printer and Office troubleshooting issues?
- Do they have prepay plans or a monthly contract?
- Do they offer cloud based software solutions?
- Are they friendly and customer serviced based?
- Are they insured?
If your IT support company is not providing the list of offerings above, then you are maybe not working with the right company for your IT needs. If you are using a family member or a friend of a friend type of IT consultant and they are not supporting your businses during the work day, you might be suffering a wee bit, but most folks who have this type of support are usually happy, until something goes wrong or when something bad happens.
I think the most important factor here when considering a company to chose is for you to create your wish list of services and go check out their website and see what they have to offer. If after you can see everything on their website, email or call in for a consultation over the phone.
I recommend hiring an IT company to have in your pocket and stay consistent using them. You can find new company many ways. Ask a friend, Google support companies or look in the Yellow Pages. Before you decide, do your homework. Call That Girl already offers everything listed above, so of course I recommend you call us when you are interviewing. I have to promote my own company, but I do try to insure my blog readers get the best value when it comes to information.
