LinkedIn Phishing Scam Beware

| April 27, 2015

This am, I got an email in my junk email folder (which I do check on a daily basis as sometimes “real” emails come in there (due to subject line, or links) and I found an email from LinkedIn. Looked legit, same colors and fonts…then I noticed 2 odd things and realized it was a phishing scam. See image below. The return address is from someone not from LinkedIn and then the blue link, does not go to LinkedIn. As well, the bottom footer of the email had some suspicious wording…Ireland? I don’t live in Ireland.
