Fractional Virtual CIO

Virtual IT Director

Businesses from the solopreneur to the smaller companies under 500 employees all need someone who is technical to help run their IT infrastructure. Like many of my clients in 2008, business boomed during the recession and 12 years later…many of you have grown and outgrown managing your own IT. While many have delegated the “IT Director” title to someone in the company, most of those folks have other tasks to do and keeping up with IT and all related issues is very challenging. Since everyone is using the cloud for data of some sorts, having a FT person is unreasonable and not always the best use of a budget.

This is where I step in. The majority of my clients who call me for Outlook and Office 365 help, typically are self-managing their systems. I help run their Office 365 admin and basic systems issues.  Most call me their “IT Director” jokingly, but it’s because I have admin access to their Office 365 and can step in and help admin on a moment’s notice. I give solid advice and help them run their self-managed systems (such as how to check your Windows updates often, how to close Outlook properly, stop Googling and call me first, is your backup current, call me before buying any software online).

Benefits of having a Frational IT Director like me!

  • No contracts, paid in 3 hour blocks of time. Tracked in 15 min increments.
  • No HR budget/no FTE, 1099
  • If you have managed IT company, I assist with tasks outside their wheelhouse
  • Fast direct access to me via cell phone and early morning emergency/night/weekends

How it works

  • Onboarding to collect all data needed
  • Then for 2 months, usage is tracked
  • After 2 months, a report will be generated of all your helpdesk tickets and determine monthly pricing (monthly retainer

I offer my clients many services, check out my list below.

  • Administrator for all software and accounts
  • Helpdesk for all IT
  • Troubleshooting calls, new user account setup, termination of accounts
  • Software installation
  • Office 365 (Admin control center, Exchange, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) setup, migrations, configuration and training
  • Gsuite Outlook configuration, Admin assistance

Onboarding Forms for Computer Technicians

Onboarding Forms for Computer Technicians

Hi Technicians! In the past year I have needed to create new onboarding forms. Too many technical hiccups were popping up on my client’s computers for me to just start working on an Outlook issue as I used to do in the past. Now I need to know more; are they logged into Windows with a Microsoft account, what version of Office? Home or business? What bit version? How large were the OST files? What types of accounts was I dealing with?  I cover all of this in my video below. I explain why I check for each and what problems can happen. Check it out and I hope it helps you with your business.

Please check out my Tech Ticket sale I have running until Dec 31, 2019! Get a last minute business write off and have me around to help you and your business when you come across your next Outlook challenging ticket!

Sale until Dec 31, 2019! $249 for a 2 hour tech ticket

Email me Lisa@callthatgirl.biz and I’ll send an invoice

How you can use the ticket

  • Your team can email me quick questions/these are free if they literally are quick
  • If not, I can remote in between my other appointments to offer some guidance on how I would fix it.
  • You can schedule an appointment for me to remote in and offer guidance on how repair or I can actually do the repair myself
  • Help you learn with personal training, see the next section “Upskilling”
  • All 2 hour tickets can be used in 15 min increments of time. Most of the techs who currently have a ticket with me use it in small increments of time. They want to learn and then do it themselves. Some repairs can be tedious but I’m great at giving an outline of the repairs needed!

UpSkilling – Hire me to help you learn all of this and more

  • Office 365 sales for home/res. Not sure of the difference? I will cover all the Office 365 buying options for you clients and best practice.
  • How to purchase -Through a vendor such as Pax8 or another company
  • Basic Office 365 admin/setup accounts/domains
  • Do you know how to do migrations? If not, I can help you learn. If I help with your first migration, this might take more time.
  • SharePoint setup– Basic setup, data transfer/Windows sync/Mobile use and sharing
  • OneDrive setup –Basic setup, data transfer/Windows sync/Mobile use
  • I’ll give you my prepay ticket video so you can learn how I sell them to Office 365 clients.
  • Probably other things as I think of it when we work together.

Other ways I can help

  • Refer me! Got an Outlook issue out of control or outside of your wheelhouse? I pay 10% commission on all referrals, immediately paid via paypal after the job is done. Most of my clients buy a 3 hour ticket, $499….so that’s $50 in your pocket for telling the client “This is an Outlook expert request” and then you’re free of the issue. There is nothing wrong with telling a client that Outlook is a specialty software, like Quickbooks.

Other things I sell or give away

Tip! If you want more than one item, hit “add to cart” and you will see “continue shopping” on the next page

**NEW ** Call That Girl’s 2019 Video “How I Sell and Support Prepay Tickets” $24 ADD TO CART

Purchase includes

  • 1 hour -downloadable video, watch anytime, anywhere!
  • Audio download
  • Word document outline of all my notes
  • Time stamped so you can read then watch each section

As a computer business owner, I got tired of dealing with payment issues and…

  • Chasing invoices and some clients never paying
  • People wanting “quick questions” for free
  • Clients shocked I was going to charge them
  • Writing up a ticket and invoice for a 15 min call
  • Consultations that should have been billable

Are you tired of dealing with the same issues I had?

  • I’ll explain my prepaid system I’ve developed since 2009
  • Why wait 30, 60 or 90 days for a 1-hour invoice, this is an outdated way to get paid. You are servicing now and need payment now
  • How to setup one invoice and track all the calls in one request with your PSA or ticket system
  • I’ll show you how easy it is to use automated forms, scheduling and payments
  • Pick up my top sales tactics for aftercare and on-going support. I’ll teach you my favorites for landing that 4-hour ticket before and after the job
  • Stay busy during the slow times! These jobs also help keep your tech game on, these short calls keep you in the know of what’s trending with issues
  • I’ll explain how I get clients who have constant “quick questions” to buy time from me. Same goes for those that think “This should be simple for you to fix”

How To Set Up Outlook

Set it up correctly! Nothing special. If you don’t know how to setup Outlook, you need to learn or refer it out. I have a referral plan available.

Office 365 West Fargo

| July 11, 2019 | 0 Comments

Call That Girl offers Office 365 Expert Consulting and technical assistance to clients in West Fargo and surrounding areas. We are based out of Winona, MN but do remote support for our clients. Office 365 and Outlook do not require onsite. Get big city knowledge with a small town price tag when you use our services! We offer fast same day service with no contracts. Our remote support tools allow us to remote into many computers to be more efficient.

Most clients call us for the following reasons

  • Office 365 is a bit confusing and they want to talk to someone who can explain it to them and ask the right questions to make sure Office 365 is the right choice. See the “New to Office 365” section below.
  • They have already been through a migration that didn’t go well. Companies such as GoDaddy seem to have migrations that leave clients calling Microsoft to finish the job. Sometimes Microsoft cannot assist. This is where I step in and can help you resolve those last lingering issues and offer on-going support. See the “Need Office 365 Aftercare” section below.
  • They are looking for a smaller experienced company to help with their migrations and have it go as seamless as possible. With my forms and surveys, I do my best to have your migration completed in one day. I offer next day aftercare to ensure everyone on the team has their special issues resolved. See the “Why Hire Lisa” section below.
  • Many small businesses have setup Office 365 themselves and have questions about the products. Microsoft doesn’t have an easy to learn guide about OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams.
  • Training, I offer private one and one training and group training for specific products and Outlook.

If you are a IT Professional and are looking for coaching, I am glad to help! Contact me for information on my Office 365 coaching packages.

New to Office 365?

  • Looking for a company to help your company migrate your email, calendar and contacts to Office 365 Exchange? This is one of my favorite projects to do. I help small businesses get migrated in one day and then have an aftercare session. Training is optional but I offer that with my Outlook Training Videos, created with clients in mind.  Clients who purchase migrations services from us, every employee gets a complimentary login so they can watch and learn at their own pace.
  • Migration pricing: I have standard pricing, no hidden fees.

Migration fee and on-going support

  • Mailbox migration cost -paid to my referral team. $225 per user mailbox, includes email, calendar and contacts transfer, setup.
  • My prepay ticket – paid to Call That Girl for onboarding, aftercare, fine tuning and on-going support
    • 4-hour tickets $599

Need Office 365 Aftercare?

  • Already on using it and have a few questions? I know the answers! Most issues are leftover problems your IT company doesn’t know how to fix it and I do.
  • Calendar and contacts a mess after a migration? I help clean it all up and help your team get organized by sharing with the team and for mobile device use.
  • What about SharePoint and OneDrive? I can help you with setting up, configuring and training. The hardest part of both of these is doing everything right the first time.
  • Phones, iPads and tablets not working right? They are probably configured wrong, I will help you get everything in sync and teach you a few tricks to help your experience be a better one!

Why Hire Lisa

Looking for an experienced technician? I have over 17 years of working with Microsoft Outlook and since 2010 have been migrating clients email from pop/IMAP to Exchange. Over the years, I have worked on making my migration processes better by documenting issues from the past. While no migration is 100% seamless, I learn from issues and update my notes and surveys. Technology can change very fast and having a technician who is up to date on these issues is the value you get with working with a small company.  I’m the only technician, so the call back times during migrations are immediate. If your company uses 3rd party apps such as Gmail calendar syncing, iCloud or other programs, I am familiar with most of those and know how to export data correctly.

Tired of not being in the loop with your tech company? I also know how to manage expectations so when a technical snag arises, I communicate this with you as soon as I’m aware. My vendor AppRiver and their tech support team are top notch. They offer 24 x 7 support so if after we are done with the migration, you will get continued phenomenal support with AppRiver. Finally, I am an Outlook Expert, so if Outlook is having issues during a migration, I know how to quickly resolve these issues.

Ready to get started?

  1. We will start with a 1 one hour consult to discuss your migrations needs, Office 365 purchase, get more information about your goals and create a game plan. Please use the scheduler at the bottom, find a good time that works for you and have all of your questions ready for the appointment.
  2. After our appointment, I will request for you to fill out out one of the forms below. You are more than welcome to fill them out before our appointment. There is no commitment if you fill it out
  3. This form is for companies with over two users https://callthatgirl.biz/microsoft-exchange-migration-information-and-agreement
  4. This form is for one person https://callthatgirl.biz/microsoft-exchange-migration-survey
