Outlook 2016 Dell Outlook Won’t Send Emails SmartByte

Sending’ reported error (0x800CC00F) : ‘The connection to the server was interupted. If this problem continues contact your server administrator or Internet Service Provider (ISP)

If you received this error when trying to send receive with Outlook 2016, I found the issue was “SmartByte” a pre-installed program with a new Dell computer was the problem. This took me about 5 hours to figure out but once I did I was happy as a clam! If you don’t have SmartByte or a Dell, just call me or schedule time on my calendar below and I’ll try to figure out what else is going on.

FIX

  • Go to “Teams admin center”
  • Org-wide setttings
  • Teams upgrade
  • Co-existance mode
  • Change to “Island” and you will have Skype for Business and Teams until SFB is completely disabled in Oct of 2019.
  • Hit “Save”
