Your message wasn’t delivered because the recipient’s email provider rejected it

Your message wasn’t delivered because the recipient’s email provider rejected it.

I was helping a client with a new 365 Exchange mailbox setup and the email would not deliver. All the DNS records were correct so it was driving me mad trying to figure out what was wrong. I got the error when sending from online or on in Outlook desktop. I logged into their account on browser on my pc and it sent just fine. Culprit had to be Norton. I disabled Norton and both online and Outlook delivered the email just fine.

So that was that, Norton was removed and client was disappointed and happy at the same time.

How to copy contacts from iPhone to Outlook

How to copy contacts from iPhone to Outlook

Hi folks, here is a simple tutorial on how to get your contact off iPhone to Outlook.

  • Go to app store and download the Export Contacts app, see image on the right here, it’s free.
  • Then run the exporter, it will tell you how many contacts it got.
  • Then email them to yourself.
  • The file will be a CSV and not in the same template Outlook uses.
  • You can export your contacts in Outlook and that will be a good template for you to match up
  • Open both the export from the app and the export from Outlook and match up the rows
  • Then import back into Outlook

That’s the simple outline of how to do it, if you need help, please schedule time on my calendar below. Thanks!

Your changes cannot be saved because you don’t have permission to modify some or all of the items in this folder

Your changes cannot be saved because you don’t have permission to modify some or all of the items in this folder. Do you want to save a copy of this item in the default folder for the item?

This is an error found when you are trying to add a calendar in Exchange without the proper permissions. There is a difference between adding permissions in Outlook and OWA. If you tried using Outlook, then log in online, remove the old permissions and try this:

I recommend logging in online to the OWA calendar

Click the calendar on the right side bar

Click on “Share” in the upper right corner of the window

Add the mailbox of the person you want to share with and give “can edit” permissions

Microsoft 365 Consultant Tampa Florida

If you’re looking for a consultant to remotely help your team, I assist clients nationally with Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams. I work on an hourly basis, no contracts and have same day appointments. Typically clients call me after they are frustrated with calling Microsoft and or their IT provider and finding no solutions. As I work with solo business owners and small to medium businesses, I see just about every tech problem out there. I also offer prepaid support tickets you can purchase to have me continue to help your team with on-going requests.

Requests start with figuring out the problems, then I work on repairing or reconfiguring the products due to your requirements, then end with some basic training.

Here is a list of issues I can help with:

  • Disconnecting Home 365 and Business 365 accounts and backing up data
  • Configuration of new products, setup syncing with desktop and mobile
  • New computer setup
  • Assist with 365 Administration
  • Fixing broken OneDrive
  • Setting up Teams and Train
  • Migrating data from network servers to OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint
