I had to say no to helping until he cleaned up and deleted old emails and got it ready for an export and a fresh install of Office! He was ready for the new Office too! I told him it would be so much faster for him.

Try to figure out what call I take that only takes 10 minutes to do but saves my clients from worry and potential data loss?
Verifying that their backup is working! These are my favorite jobs especially with online backup, I am sure to get all the Outlook files too, even the ones no one thinks should be backed up.

So many clients with Gmail are using very old Outlook. Today I helped a client setup her Gmail account and it would not stop syncing. Her internet was fast and the computer was fast, her email size was just around 1 gig. What do you think was the issue here?
Outlook 2010 is broke and out of date, time to upgrade when this happens. Be sure you back up!

Client lost a few folders and many emails were also missing. Finding lost data is one of my favorite jobs I work on, mostly because I am pretty darn good at finding them. Guess where his lost data was?
Right in the good old inbox. I had to first find them and then created the folders again and he will move them all back. Search is your friend!
?? WIN WIN ?? Another insane 30 min with a client who had 3 Microsoft migraines rolling. Client has IMAP for email/Office 365 home for his 4 home computers and an Outlook.com account. Why do you think he has the Outlook.com account?
