Outlook Calendar Contacts Syncing for Retired Business Executives
Why Hire Me?
Are you a retired executive? Are you enjoying retirement, but longing for the trusted and timely technical support – email, Outlook and all things Microsoft – you enjoyed as an executive?
I am the solution. I offer best-in-class technical expertise and world-class customer service. That combination is the reason hundreds of retired executives make me their go-to IT/software consultant. Please see the “Testimonials” page. https://callthatgirl.biz/testimonials/
I look forward to working with you!
What I Do
I understand the needs and expectations of executives because I’ve spent 30 years meeting those needs and exceeding expectations. I’ve worked in large corporations and small businesses. I’ve supported businesses and individuals as an outside consultant. I’ve supported Apple, Windows, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, iCloud and any email account possible.
What people want is pretty simple – seamless integration of their devices, systems and programs. The flexibility to review emails from your various accounts anytime and anywhere, whether on your laptop, your tablet or your phone. The ability to seamlessly manage contacts, calendars and tasks across all your devices. And perhaps most challengingly, making your Apple devices play nicely with your Microsoft/Outlook devices.
I do all that well. First, I start with a big-picture perspective and a platform-agnostic approach. While my deepest expertise is on the Microsoft side, especially Outlook and Microsoft 365, I understand the Apple ecosystem and best practices for bringing those two worlds together in peace and harmony. Second, I love to learn and solve problems, and those instincts serve me well. Third, I appreciate the importance of providing great customer service, whether it be for a retired executive or anyone else.

HP Officejet Pro 9120e series will only scan to New Outlook
HP Officejet Pro 9120e series will only scan to New Outlook
Oof this was a fun job to figure out! Client called and said her new HP printer would only scan to New Outlook. I figured something was up so I did all my troubleshooting, and after not finding any options to change to old or classic Outlook, we called HP. I got two different people who frankly didn’t know what was going on. I decided to train my client on how to use the Windows Fax and Scan in her computer and it scanned perfect and used the “forward to email” option that opened her classic Outlook.
This is all I have for you, if you know of a workaround, please let me know, otherwise below are the notes to get around it. If this is a dealbreaker for you, you can use New Outlook, call HP and complain to see if they found a patch for this (the patch they offered us, did NOT work btw), or return it and get another printer that does print to old or classic Outlook.
How to find and use the Windows Fax and Scan app:
- Go to your search at the bottom of your task bar and search “Scan”
- You should see a pop up for “Windows Fax and Scan”
- Launch the app and then if you plan on using it often, in the task bar right click on it and pin to task bar.
- Then scan and the image will show up, you can click on it and then click on the “forward to email” button.

Outlook Meeting Invites Not Showing in Inbox After Accepting
Client called with this odd problem. Never seen it before and so I did some research and I found this wsa solved by a contributor in the Microsoft Forums. As I’m an active contributor as well, I like to share answers. Here is her answer and it did work for my client. I actually changed his view by going to the reading pane and changed it from right side to bottom and that did it, it’s the same as what Kim said pretty much.
“In my email, the view setting was set to compact. For some reason, compact view would not allow meeting invites to show up in my email, only via Teams app. Resetting my view setting in my inbox fixed the issue”
