Believe it or not, many of my clients have eight or more email accounts in Outlook. When I take on these clients, I know they are super users of Outlook. Meaning, they usually know a lot about their accounts and profile set up. One thing they usually don’t know though is how the email accounts work with Outlook in the back end and what can cause their emails to have some problems with connecting to accounts through Outlook. That’s where I come in.
Last week I had a client call in with the problem of everything being super slow. When clients book time, I do onboarding and cover everything in their system and then do a “diagnosis” of what some root causes could be. The list can be very long of things I look for:
So, as you can see, there are many possible issues. I go through them all and then help the client get Outlook back up and running. For this client, I created a new profile with just 2 accounts for him to test and then we can figure out what is causing the issue. Problem not resolved yet. I will update this post when I have a final resolution.
