Recover Outlook OST File
How to Recover Outlook OST Files can be a challenging job. As an Outlook Expert it took me awhile to figure these file types out and how they work and such. Microsoft doesn’t have the best tutorials, so for many of us, it’s reading forums and blogs.
Software Recovery Programs
There are many recovery programs out there on the internet- most run around $49. I downloaded a free version to be sure the OST files showed up and they did. Tip, only search for OST files! (much faster). I paid then for the program and they recovered the OST files quickly. You will need to use another software program to convert the OST file to a PST file so you can add back into Outlook. I have used many OST to PST converter tools, all of them work the same and are priced around $99. You’re looking at about $150 if you want to do the recovery yourself.

Microsoft Outlook OST Recovery
Microsoft Outlook OST Recovery can be quite an interesting job for a technician who knows Outlook and the computer, it is not interesting for someone without the background we have. Why is that? The OST file is a mystery to some, it might be there one day and the next day if you delete a file and were not aware, that file might be gone forever.
This is when data recovery comes into play. If you are an end user looking to find and recover OST files yourself, I recommend asking your IT tech to help on this or call me to help. I can assist your technician as well if you want us to partner up.
