- Marcin Kleczynski is the guest speaker on the show and is founder and CEO of Malwarebytes.
- The story of Malwarebytes:
- Started out as a remote company that developed a product called RogueRemover that targeted rogue malware.
- Moved into something that targeted all malware.
- Product stayed online for a long time, but then moved into a boxed shelf product that you can buy in the store.
- Can still use for free, or can buy a licensed version.
- A lot of the employees are still remote support that work from home, but the company is also working in offices and are growing to open more offices in more locations.
- While no antivirus is 100%, Malwarebytes is a great product.
- Always have a backup antivirus product.
- The lowest risk for starting a business is to start online/remote. Saves you the headache of paying rent and all the software, etc.
- Your business plan will always be dynamic in that they are constantly changing in the beginning.
- Mostly used by management.
- Set goals, make campaigns, road maps.
