- Routers
- Firmware problems can cause the router to kick you off the network, not connect to a network, and a number of other problems.
- Installing the updated firmware for the device you have can eliminate a number of problems immediately. For one client, updating the firmware of their router fixed the connectivity issues they were having.
- Printers
- ALWAYS ask how old a printer is.
- Two quick ways to fix most printer problems:
- Unplug all cables from power sources and devices, reboot the computer, plug the cables back in, and cyber the power to the printer.
- Add a printer.
- Almost all hardware troubles can be resolved with remote support. In the event that a technician needs to be onsite, ask Lisa for a referral.
