Mac Outlook 2011 Email Calendar and Contacts Missing

| February 15, 2015

mac outlook 2011Hi folks, Lisa here again to help you with your Mac Outlook 2011 Email Calendar and Contacts Missing issues. Sometimes clients will have a glitch, and that’s all I can it is (as Mac updates are different from Windows and don’t randomly throw them at you)…the glitch is that when they open their Outlook 2011, email might be there, but none of their folders, calendar or contacts there.

Or are they and you can’t find them?

Before I move along and help you find your missing files, I have to let you know that you should back up your user profile before doing anything here folks! Backing up is super important when dealing with broken profiles and mail identities.

Also before moving ahead, if you are not technical enough to do this work, please call me, I can remote in and help for sure. 612-865-4475

So what is more than likely the issue, you have maybe already tried to rebuild the database. Is that correct? If so, you now might have 2 mail identities in the Microsoft Database Utility. If you have already tried to rebuild the database for one identity, go change the default to the other one. And if it prompts you to rebuild, this one hopefully will rebuild ok.

You can also try going back in time and using your Time Machine to do that, if you are using it correctly, the database can be brought back to before you had the issue.

If you need more help than this, please contact me by filling out the form below or call 612-865-4475
