Hi Folks, thanks for checking out my current requests page. This is for the. Many of these calls were 1-3 calls and some went over an hour or got moved to project mode (migrations, email moving, etc)

 

Week of May 4 to May 8th

  1. Moving PST to Exchange
  2. setup 365 new tenant for client
  3. PST management with ACT
  4. Gmail connected to 365 apps
  5. Hotmail could not login with password
  6. Outlook sluggish, cache was not turned on, created new profileSetup 2FA for user with Box

 

Week of April 27 to May 1

  1. Outlook 2010 + PST files + OneDrive = disaster
    1. Client on 2010, his hard drive was out of space so he put the PST’s in OneDrive and now Outlook doesn’t love that location. Hired me to reconfigure.
  2. New employee setup on a personal Windows profile
    1. Client buys computer off the shelf (Best Buy, Amazon, etc) like most of us small businesses, has to have a Windows personal account, so I help set up the 365 Business apps and configure Outlook and SharePoint
  3. Hosted Exchange migration to Microsoft 365
    1. Client requested a migration from the hosted Exchange, I’ll migrate the data to 365 Exchange
  4. 99GB mailbox hitting limits
    1. Once you hit 99 gigs and your inplace archive is acting sluggish, it’s time for power players to get a 2nd mailbox. Will migrate data
  5. Too much email, needed a 2nd mailbox
    1. Another client with a similar issues
  6. MFA lockouts (within 48 hours!)
    1. Client could not log into 365 Admin as he replaced his phone, put in a call to Microsoft Data Protection, got back into his account in less than 48 hours
  7. iCloud + ARM processor compatibility issues
    1. Outlook Classic with ARM processors just don’t play together anymore, set client up on New Outlook and it worked great!
  8. Outlook sync errors on Mac
    1. Client had months of sync errors in Outlook on the Mac. Found the file that was stuck, deleted off server.
  9. Carbonite overcharges
    1. Client was overbilled, help assist with getting a refund. Loyal long term client.
  10. Domain transition & data migration
    1. Client is leaving one company and I am assisting with migrating to a new 365 account
  11. Outlook.com to Microsoft 365 Business migration
    1. Client was using Outlook.com for business, set up a new domain and am migrating Outlook.com data over
  12. “Missing emails” found in Deletions folder
    1. Client was missing critical emails, found in OWA search in a new folder called “Deletions”, recovered all and he put the emails back in the folders.
  13. Outlook search not working
    1. Use cached Exchange Mode was not set, told client to have IT create a new profile and use cached mode for better search results.
  14. Purchased EP2 for a client and verified inplace archive
    1. Client needed more than 50 gigs
  15. Helped a client setup POP with yahoo that was once at comcast
    1. App password was required but the server settings were wrong.
  16. Helped a client with a new email account, decided to migrate to exchange
    1. After discussing some sharing needs, client chose to move to Exchange
  17. icloud slow to sync, takes 15 min apparently
    1. This is something I could fix, it’s how New Outlook works
  18. IMAP not synching folders from online to Outlook, Outlook to online is fine, will investigate this, not typical.

  19. Hosted Exchange to 365 Exchange project
    1. Migrated data/full migration project
  20. Gmail is duplicating between two mailboxes
    1. Researching now
  21. 2 PST in use, client wanted them combined and setup to use with ACT
    1. I copied the data out of one and then changed email delivery
  22. New Computer Set up
    1. Prepped new PC for data
  23. Exchange added calendars from all user accounts a calendar to admin’s calendar
    1. Researching
  24. Set up IMAP and added a PST for searching/helped with phone set up
  25. User added the 99 gigs, will go through all the PST files on a new computer and migrate to Exchange
