Recent Updates Causes Microsoft Outlook and Pop Email Problems

| March 11, 2016 | 0 Comments

Microsoft UpdateRecently there was an Outlook update that’s caused a few issues with Outlook and Pop accounts. One issue is that emails are duplicating, the other is it’s just not functioning correctly.  It is Update 16.0.6568.2025

The update can be found if by opening your Outlook, go to “File”, then go down to “Office Account” and under the Product Information area, you will see what your recent version is. If it’s 16.0.6568.2025, and if you’re having problems, here is the fix for this. If this does not work, then you might have other problems. Feel free to call me at 612-865-4475

Three emails show up when clicking on email button in Contacts

| March 10, 2016 | 0 Comments

As an Outlook Expert, I get asked the funkiest of problems! This client, got 3 emails in the TO line when she was in her contacts and clicked in the “email button” in the ribbon.

Not all did this but some did. Below are some pictures that show what is going on. What I found is happening, is that your contacts were probably in another contact management program, such as icloud or a 3rd party app. Something got configured wrong when imported into exchange. So the fix for this is to create a new profile in Outlook, this fix worked for my client.
