  • Marcin Kleczynski is the guest speaker on the show and is founder and CEO of Malwarebytes.
  • The story of Malwarebytes:
    • Started out as a remote company that developed a product called RogueRemover that targeted rogue malware.
    • Moved into something that targeted all malware.
    • Product stayed online for a long time, but then moved into a boxed shelf product that you can buy in the store.
    • Can still use for free, or can buy a licensed version.
    • A lot of the employees are still remote support that work from home, but the company is also working in offices and are growing to open more offices in more locations.
  • While no antivirus is 100%, Malwarebytes is a great product.
  • Always have a backup antivirus product.
  • The lowest risk for starting a business is to start online/remote. Saves you the headache of paying rent and all the software, etc.
  • Your business plan will always be dynamic in that they are constantly changing in the beginning.
    • Mostly used by management.
    • Set goals, make campaigns, road maps.

      • “The cleaner the site, the better it is going to rank.”
      • Use a variety of tags and title tags to get better rankings.
        • Use less than 60 characters in tags
        • Title tags also appear in URL.
  • Web traffic can be EXPENSIVE.
    • You will get more web traffic and more business when your website is more appealing to the audience.
    • Concept called heat maps can pinpoint where the majority of your traffic is clicking in various places on your website.
    • Personalize forms to match the services. Clients are more opt to filling out forms that look more thought out and personalized.
    • Make your title and content appealing to the audience. The message should match your title, products, and services.
      • People click on Google search results that would best meet their needs and expectations. Deliver what they are looking for!
      • Content is key!
