Geek Squad Referrals for Outlook and Email Support

Hi folks, I’ll post this information first: my email is lisa@callthatgirl.biz or you can call 612-865-4475 for immediate help. I live in Florida and work remotely as a Microsoft 365 Expert/Consultant. I do hourly work and don’t have contracts. I also answer my phone if I’m not on the phone and will call you back. I don’t use Ai to help fix your issues and you don’t have to do an Ai bot chat. I’m a real human, doing real human support still in 2026. Please call or fill out out the form below to get in contact.

If you are seeing this, you are looking for help after you got home and found your Outlook not working as it should. I help many clients with their computers after Geek Squad/Best Buy serviced their computer or data transferred to a new computer. I’m also getting told from clients that Best Buy/Geek Squad is also now referring clients to call me. Huge win in today’s world!

What typically happens is that Geek Squad/Best Buy will setup your Windows and Office and give “best effort” on email accounts. The new automatic set up offers IMAP and Exchange, they don’t usually set up POP with PST files, or set up Google Workspace (GWSMO) or iCloud. The top 3 requests I get from Geek Squad clients.

Before I explain, think about this…Outlook is a desktop application that can be configured 1000 different ways. I’m an expert with Outlook and it took me 20+ years to know these different ways. For a technician in today’s world to understand all the little complexities you have set up, I can see why I get many referrals. Best Buy/Geek Squad does the simple email set up that most technicians know how to do well.

Here is a short list of problems I have helped Geek Squad clients with:

  • Setting up POP from a current PST files
  • Business 365 account and Home Personal 365 account confusion
  • Licensing for Office
  • 365 Business Exchange accounts
  • Found lost appdata contacts
  • Setup IMAP vs Exchange (this is the most common)
  • Fixed “This Computer Only” calendars and contacts
  • Figured out home Microsoft accounts vs Business accounts
  • Found archives that were not added to the accounts in the profile
  • Found lost email, important information
  • Configure multiple email accounts in the right order
  • Set up autocomplete (when you start typing an email, those emails are not in the address book)
  • Set up address book
  • Imported contacts correctly
